Friday Sketch Challenge #23

Hi all!  My mum asked me to whip up some baby girl cards in my spare time (?) so I thought I would play along with Friday Sketch Challenge #23.  I made two from the same sketch.

I used Sleeping Baby Tilda who is just a little bit cute!  I coloured her with Distress Inks which I am still practising with sometimes with more success than others!

Hope you like these and thanks for popping by!

Angry Birds

Hi thanks for stopping by.  This card is a total case from Stampin with Niki.  She has a great tutorial on her blog for these punch art Angry Birds.  Our friend's daughter had an Angry Birds theme for her 12th birthday so thought this was appropriate!  About all I have changed is the CB folder used, sentiment and different grass and flowers.

If you would like any information on anything I've used drop me a line and go and visit Niki's blog she has some gorgeous creations.

Friday Sketch Challenge #19

When my kids are going to a party and need a card they go through my stamps to pick what they would like.  I don't get a choice its totally their pick!  Laurel picked Honeybee Tilda for her friend's birthday card and I made two while I was there.

This one was coloured with Copic Markers.

This one was coloured with Distress Markers.

They are both using the sketch from Friday Sketch Challenge #19.

April Monthly Scrapbookers Club

This month I took part in the Scrapbookers Club Challenge at Paper Flourish.  The theme was yellow and a handmade embellishment.  I have wanted to scrap these photos of Oscar for a while now which were taken on New Years Day.  It was so hot the boys had a run around the backyard in the sprinkler.  I love these photos.

Here is what I used:
Paper: Farmhouse (October Afternoon)
Embellishments: Flowers (Prima), Farmhouse (October Afternoon), Mini Rosettes (Tim Holtz Sizzix), Letters (Tim Holtz), Twine (My Minds Eye), Frayed Burlap Distress Ink, Border Punch (SU), Flag Punch (SU), Pearls & Vintage Brad (SU)

So my handmade embellishments were the rosettes and pennant flags.

Thanks for dropping by,

Archer's 2nd Birthday

It was our little man's 2nd birthday on the 11th May and he is obsessed with trucks!  Everywhere we go we have an ongoing narrative about all the trucks.  So I most definitely had to make his card with a truck on it.

There is no stamping on this card so it was super easy to put together.  So here is what I used:

Paper: Ballet Blue Cardstock (retired SU), On The Go DP (Bo Bunny)
Accessories: On The Go Noteworthy Die Cuts, Big Shot, Medium Alphabet Sizzlit Dies, Dimensionals

I have got the hang at this scheduling posts thing so hopefully you will hear a bit more from me now!

Thanks for popping by,

I'm Back!

Seriously was it really September that I last posted? I have been creating but have been so ultra busy that my blog has just fallen by the wayside. Well anyway here is a card I was asked to make by a friend for her new nephew. I was inspired by this card and am really happy how it turned out. All supplies are Stampin' Up! If you are interested in anything I used then drop me a line.

Don't forget Sale-a-Bration is on at the moment so if you order $100 worth of product you get a free gift! What could be better than freebies :)

I don't guarantee I'll be a regular poster but I'll try and pop in a bit more often!
